Dr. Taghechian is a Board-Certified Urologist with Special Expertise in Cosmetic Gynecology. She received her Bachelors of Science degree in Biology and Bachelors of Arts degree in Chemistry from Emory University, and attended the Emory School of Medicine where she obtained her medical degree. Dr. Taghechian completed her residency in Surgery and Urology at the University of Texas in Houston, TX. She received training in Cosmetic Gynecology from experts around the world so that she could provide comprehensive feminine care to her patients.
After finishing her training, Dr. Taghechian joined Georgia Urology in 2011, where she has brought focus to women’s intimate health. She founded Aayla Sexual Wellness and Aesthetics so that she could offer her one-of -a-kind services to women around the world.
Dr. Taghechian was voted one of Atlanta Magazine’s Top Docs in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024. She was honored with the Exceptional Women in Medicine awards in 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 recognizing her contributions to the advancement of healthcare through clinical care, research, community service, education and leadership.
